Graduates of MACU’s counseling programs may pursue careers in a variety of mental health and community service settings, including:

• Applied Behavioral Science – A non-licensure track designed for leadership roles in human services or nonclinical counseling settings.
  

• Addiction and Substance Abuse Counseling – Prepares graduates to pursue credentials such as Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
  

• Clinical Mental Health Counseling – Focuses on psychotherapy, assessment, and treatment approaches that lead toward Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) roles.
